Citymax Hotels, the hospitality division of the Landmark Group, has reported that its employee engagement programme ‘Go Beyond’ has yielded positive results.
Go Beyond is a service experience offered at Citymax Hotels, and encourages colleagues to connect with customers, recognise needs and deliver tailored guest experiences.
The programme has been designed and implemented in cooperation with Performance Solutions.
The results have been strong. When compared to 2014’s figures, Citymax notes a significant difference in colleague satisfaction and recommendation rates based on a survey.

From those employees that were surveyed, colleague satisfaction rates increased by 30% year on year and colleague’s employment recommendation rate to friends and family increased by 36% for the same period.
Russel Sharpe, COO of Citymax Hotels said: “Citymax aims to be a hospitality innovator and create exceptional experiences for guests. It is our vision that each of our ‘Citymax Delighters’ demonstrates the ‘Go Beyond’ behaviour to consistently delight our guests and our teams. Our aim is to turn our guests into our ambassadors and our fans.”
The programme began in Citymax Al Barsha in May 2015, and has since been implemented across both Bur Dubai and Sharjah properties along with all employees in the corporate head office.
