The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa has officially opened, offering 365 rooms and suites, including a presidential suite and five pool villas.

The hotel has six F&B outlets, which includes Sabai Thai, Hunter’s Room and Grill, Mix Bar, and Lounge & Terrace.

The new property also houses the Westin Grand Ballroom, a pillar-less ballroom featuring more than 6,000 sq m of function space, and the Heavenly Spa, which has designated male and female wings. More facilities are due to be added to the spa in spring 2016.

Gianrico Esposito, general manager of The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa, said: “We are introducing the residents of Qatar to a new health-enhancing and rejuvenation focused hotel and spa approach.”

In the Middle East, Starwood currently operates 53 properties with more than 40 hotels in the pipeline to open in the next five years.
