Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche will attend IMEX Frankfurt 2016, taking place on April 19-21, in order to attract a bigger slice if the MICE market.

The hotel’s participation at the incentive travel and mice exhibition event in Germany will be under the umbrella of AccorHotels.

Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche director of sales and marketing Archana Kawatra said: “MICE (corporate and leisure) segment contributes to up to 25% of our business mix on a daily basis. Strong MICE business creates a base which is indeed a very important factor for yielding in terms of revenue management.

IMEX Frankfurt has announced that an estimated 3,500 exhibitors from all over the world have confirmed their attendance.

The three-day event expects 9,000 participants, which include 4,000 buyers.
