What do you think are the main challenges facing Qatar hotel GMs in 2016?
Many new competitors makes it more challenging to share a market hit by the oil and gas crisis. Therefore, GMs have to be even more creative, and reduce their costs while keeping a high standard of service.

What most excites you about the Qatar hotel industry in 2016?
As far as our business is concerned, there are couple of opportunities. First of all there are several new properties openings, sprinkled with a few competitors. Moreover, our competitive pricing strategy fits horeca professionals in their current ‘cost killing’ mood.

What are the main topics you expect to come up at the Hotelier Middle East Qatar Hospitality Summit 2016?
Coffee capsules: since QTA has announced that all five-star hotels must have coffee machines in every room to raise level of service in Qatar hotels. Besides, it is one of the company’s major product launches for 2016.
