Hilton Abu Dhabi has appointed Kevin Cavaco as director of marketing and PR for the property.
Originally from Australia, Cavaco holds dual Portuguese and Australian nationality, and joins the Abu Dhabi property directly from Portugal, where he has worked for 18 years in the tourism industry.
His most recent role was as director of marketing for the Sheraton Lisboa Hotel & Spa, where he spent three years in this role.
During his time with Sheraton in Lisbon, Cavaco also oversaw marketing and digital strategies for Starwood Hotels & Resorts in Portugal.
Commenting on his new appointment at the Hilton Abu Dhabi, Cavaco said: “I look forward to working with the team here to build on our reputation as one of the landmark hotels of the capital.
"There are so many exciting things taking place in our hotel and I look forward to sharing them with the residents of Abu Dhabi and UAE very soon.”
