Gordon Campbell Gray has revealed that CampbellGray Hotels is making further inroads in the Middle East with openings and pipeline additions.
In the first of the announcements, Campbell Gray Living - Amman, a development by Al Seraje Real Estate, a subsidiary of the Audeh Group, has launched its show apartment and is now taking sales enquires.
Located in Abdali, Campbell Gray Living includes residences, offices, boutiques, and a five-star hotel, the Campbell Gray Amman, which will only open in 2018. The hotel will offer 180 rooms and suites.
Campbell Gray said there will be a focus on art within the property, and the private residences will have one, two and three-bedroom apartments designed by Martin Brundnizki Design Studio.
Campbell Gray said: "We are really excited to be in this area, and we are in it for the long haul. What I want to inject with the hotel is fun into Amman, and this is the place you want to be if you want to stay there."
He added that he would "love to have a Campbell Gray Living in Dubai", and is looking "very hard" for a location.
The hotelier also said that he has signed a 40-bedroom boutique hotel in Manama, Bahrain. Not revealing much more, he said: "We’re going to put graffiti in it. It’s going to be our most edgy hotel. That’s quite exciting."

Finally, the mid-scale brand that was announced in 2015 has a name: Feathers.
Campbell Gray said: "I’ve created a new brand which is called Feathers. My very first hotel was called the Feathers in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. It was a tiny little hotel and it did well."
Explaining the brand further, he added: "The idea is an affordable entry-point, less service than a normal Campbell Gray Hotel, but it will have the style of a Campbell Gray Hotel.
"Feathers is another one that I believe will really do well in Dubai because I think there’s a big market for people who want to come in, want to stay somewhere beautiful but don’t want to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars per night."
