This Ramadan, JA Resorts & Hotels provided 500 iftar meals to labourers in a charity iftar initiative.
Funds for the meals were raised through donations from hotel associates. JA Resorts & Hotels then matched the amount raised by its associates.
The meals were prepared by staff at JA Jebel Ali Golf Resort, and then served by associates from the hotel.
Commenting on the initiative JA Jebel Ali Golf Resort GM Otto Kurzendorfer said: “At JA Resorts & Hotels, we encourage a culture of care for our guests, staff and the wider community. Ramadan is a time of compassion and giving and we believe in doing our part in embracing the spirit of this Holy Month.”
JA Resorts & Hotels COO David Thomson added: “We appreciate the dedication and hard work of the workers in this city and strive to do what we can to support them through the month and beyond.”
