Petr Dubsky has added to his responsibilities at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel Bahrain, by being promoted as its new executive assistant manager.

His most recent position was director of food & drink at the property, and he will remain in charge of food & drink in addition to his responsibilities as EAM.

Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel Bahrain general manager Panos Panagis said in a statement: "Petr has proven himself to be a host and a true hospitality leader with great potential."

Dubsky, a Czech national, started his hospitality career nearly 10 years ago - he joined The Rezidor Hotel Group as bar manager in 2008, and then became restaurant manager at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel Dublin, Ireland.

He has since gained experience during pre-opening of two Radisson Blu Hotels, in Poland and Nigeria.

Dubsky then moved to Batumi, Georgia as food & beverage manager, as part of the pre-opening team of Radisson Blu Hotel Batumi.

Two years later, he moved to the Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel Tbilisi, Georgia as F&B manager.

Dubsky studied at the ECornell University to gain a Master Certificate in Hospitality Management, and speaks Czech, English & Russian.
