Elias El Bahri has joined the 203 room Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi as the new director of sales and marketing.
El Bahri moves to Holiday Inn directly from his role as in the sales and events department of Crowne Plaza and Staybridge Suites on Yas Island, where he worked for the past five years.
Originally from Lebanon, El Bahri brings over 12 years of hospitality experience to the role.
He started his hospitality career with the Phoenicia InterContinental Hotel in Lebanon, later moving to the Sheraton Beirut and Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri Abu Dhabi.
Commenting on the appointment, Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi general manager Robert Clark said: “I’m very excited to have Elias join our dynamic team with his expertise, market knowledge and great commercial background; I am confident that Elias is ready to take on the new challenge and bring in outstanding results."
