With a deadline of September 10, the chefs behind The Pink Brigade campaign are making a final call for the UAE's culinary industry to get involved with the initiative to raise awareness about breast cancer prevention.
It has been organised for the third time by Dubai-based chefs Russell Impiazzi and Robbie Stokes, and has previously brought together chefs from the UAE, UK and Canada raising over AED100,000 (US $27,225).
Uniform company Bragard will supply the jackets at a cost of AED 100 ($27) per piece, and A. Ronai will supply pink aprons for the price of AED 50 ($14) each.

All the money received will go towards the Pink Caravan, a nationwide initiative launched by the Friends of Cancer Patients (FoCP).
After orders are finalised, a get-together will be held along with a photoshoot of all the chefs wearing their jackets/aprons at the end of October.
Impiazzi told Caterer: "Both Robbie and I would once again ask for our awesome industry to come together as one for this year's campaign and make a real difference."
Caterer Middle East is an official media partner of the initiative.
