Pullman Dubai Creek City Centre has been awarded the premium status of a certification from the Safehotels Alliance AB.

Following a third party audit that took place in August, the hotel has been recognised by the annual scheme which looks at four main areas; healthcare that assesses processes and procedures around first aid training, cardiopulmonary resuscitation training and equipment; personal safety including storage for valuables, security measures and round the clock staffing; fire safety covers fire training for staff, equipment, evacuation methods and fire alarms; and finally security management offers a dedicated crisis management group, safety officer and offering flexible security with a systematic approach.

Pullman Dubai Creek City Centre general manager Nishan Silva said: “We are pleased to have been awarded the recognition from the Safehotels Alliance AB.”

Silva added: “The certification process assesses every single aspect pertaining to safety and security taking into account everything between the structural design to the organisational structure that includes secured stairwell doors, access control systems, guest rooms, corridors, parking facility, securing guest property, storage, training tools and securing guest information along with many other aspects.”

Safehotels Alliance AB CEO Hans Kanold said: "Nishan and his team show first class dedication to security. The ability to balance a welcoming environment with attention to detail when it comes to creating a safe stay for the guests is key.
