As part of its CSR initiative Arjaan Rotana Media City has collaborated with Saudi German Hospital in conjunction with the World Heart Day, which falls on September 29, to promote awareness among its colleagues.

Heart disease is known to be a silent killer and is responsible for 30% of death in Dubai and is the number one global cause of death with 17.3 million deaths each year. By 2030, that number is expected to rise to more than 23.6 million, according to statistics quoted in a company statement.

“With such alarming statistics, it is vital that we raise awareness among our colleagues. It is important to understand that this disease has no symptoms and that we can prevent it from happening, only if we take precautionary measures by opting for a healthier lifestyle” stated Arjaan Rotana Dubai Media City general manager Ayman Ashor.
