The St. Regis Abu Dhab has appointed Rana Wassfey to the position of government sales account director.
Wassfey, an Egyptian national, will be responsible for driving global government business to the hotel, with a particular focus on the GCC region.
Director of sales Emil Nilsson said in a statement: “Our facilities and location at the heart of the capital make us a prime hotel for government business.
"Since opening we have had strong success in this sector and with the appointment of a dedicated government sales account director, we anticipate seeing significant future growth."
Wassfey has eight years of experience, and most recently, she held the position of senior sales manager government protocol with Emirates Palace.
She has an MBA from Atlantis University and a Bachelor in Business Administration The British University in Egypt.
