Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara was developed by Musstir, the hospitality and property development company of MB Group in Oman, and its 50% local joint venture partner, Omran, the Sultanate’s master developer for tourism destinations and urban communities.

“We are delighted to open the doors of our new luxury resort in Salalah; it has been a vision for my family and I to create a new level of hospitality for the Salalah market that can be enjoyed by GCC families as well as international visitors. The design is typical of the area and the exclusiveness and privacy will be an excellent match for all the markets that the resort will attract," said Musstir director Safana Al Barwani, in a statement.

Musstir CEO Cyril Piaia also added: "Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara is in line with His Majesty's Vision 2020 for the Sultanate of Oman and with Musstir’s long-term commitment aimed at developing sustainable properties blending within the local Omani culture and traditions, as well as offering modern and high-standard amenities for our guests travelling locally or from abroad."
