Ahead of its opening this month (December 2016), the AlRayyan Hotel Doha, Curio – A Collection by Hilton, the first Curio hotel in the Middle East, has revealed the property's ExCom members.

General manager Luca Crocco, who was appointed during the hotel’s pre-opening phase in June 2015, has more than 20 years' experience with Hilton Worldwide, having first started his career with the operator in 1996 as assistant F&B manager at Hilton London St. Ermins.

Isabel Fernandez has taken on the role of director of business development, bringing with her 11 years’ experience in the field, including two in pre-opening roles. Fernandez joined Hilton Worldwide in 2011 as part of the pre-opening team for Hilton Doha. In her current role, she will oversee the sales, marketing, conference, events and reservations departments.

Shaik Basha is the property's executive chef, with this hotel making it his sixth pre-opening throughout his career. Basha has more than six years’ experience as an executive chef and 16 years working in the kitchen. He has been a part of the Hilton family since 2012, when he joined as executive chef of Hilton Shillim Retreat & Spa in India.

Othmane Lamine is new to the Hilton Worldwide family, and joins the AlRayyan Hotel Doha as food and beverage manager from Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, and brings more than 15 years’ food and beverage experience to the hotel. He will oversee the operation of five restaurants, five meeting rooms and a grand ballroom, as well as manage all outside catering services.

The hotel is located at Al Rayyan and directly connected to Mall of Qatar. It offers 201 rooms and suites, five restaurants, three outdoor swimming pools, wellness areas, meeting rooms and a grand ballroom.
