Bateel International is now offering its products to Qatar’s capital, Doha for the first time, with a series of openings taking place from this month across the first quarter of 2017, a press statement said.
General manager Tina Memic remarked: “Bateel has been long awaited in Qatar and we are delighted to finally be able to bring the highest quality gourmet experiences and outstanding customer service to residents through our network of new locations across the city."
Bateel is set to open six new cafés and boutiques in Doha, following a brand new boutique and café that opened in Mall of Qatar earlier this month.
2017 will see a period of continued growth in the country, with a further three openings; a café and boutique in Doha Festival City as well as a dual-purpose location in the Lagoona Mall, which will offer both a café and boutique under one roof.
Bateel International managing director Dr. Ata Atmar commented: “Bateel is Arabic for ‘a young offshoot of a date palm’ and like our namesake, our company has grown tremendously over the years. 2016 has been a stellar year for Bateel as we expanded into several new key markets across the GCC, as well as celebrating our 25th anniversary.”
2016 has been a year of growth for the brand, with store and café openings across Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Oman.
