The Rezidor Hotel Group, a member of Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, has signed the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dhahran Square and Radisson Blu Residence, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, in partnership with Tanami Arabia Limited (LLC).
The new properties will be located in the business district of Dhahran, a city in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom.
Located across from the Dhahran Mall, the Radisson Blu Residence, Dhahran will open in Q1 2017, with 92 serviced apartments with access to an all-day dining restaurant and a gym for guests. The newly built Radisson Blu Hotel, Dhahran Square, located across the road from the Residence, will open in Q1 2019 featuring 216 rooms, a business class lounge, two gyms, a swimming pool and meeting facilities.
Rezidor Hotel Group executive vice president and chief development officer Elie Younes said in a statement: "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a long-term key market for the Rezidor Hotel Group providing both inbound business from international markets and significant outbound business to the wider Gulf Corporation Council (GCC) countries.
