Kempinski Summerland Hotel & Resort has appointed Italian hotelier Daniele Vastolo to the position of general manager.
Vastolo joins Kempinski from his most recent role as group director of operations at Nikki Beach Hotels & Resorts EMEA Ltd. In this position, he opened Nikki Beach Resort & Spa, Porto Heli, Greece, followed by Nikki Beach Resort & Spa, Bodrum, Turkey and was instrumental in the pre-opening of Nikki Beach Resort & Spa, Dubai.
He has workd with international hospitality groups such as Shangri- La Hotels & Resorts and Constance Hotels, and has overseen the opening and pre-opening of various high-end destinations and island resorts as general manager, namely in the Seychelles, Boracay and Fiji, amongst other locations.
