Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara has appointed Nizar Adeeb as the new area director of sales and marketing for Minor hotels in Qatar.
Adeeb started his career 21 years ago in sales and marketing with Marriott International in the Middle East.
He continued his career in New York City managing international brands such as Marriott and Renaissance Hotels as well as Luxury Hotel brands; The Plaza New York and the iconic New York Palace Hotel.

In his new role the Lebanese native will be responsible for overseeing sales, marketing and public relations for Doha’s five-star luxury resort, Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara as well as re-branding Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels by Tivoli, pre-opening Al Najada Tivoli Doha, Oaks Al Najada Apartments Doha, as well as Souq Al Wakrah Hotel by Tivoli.
Adeeb holds a US citizenship and has an MBA in International Brand Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona USA and a certificate of Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management from Cornell University in New York.
