Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach has appointed Martin Becquart as the new executive chef and Louana Moulaeb as marketing and communications manager.
A French national, Becquart brings over 20 years of worldwide experience from Europe, South America, Caribbean, Middle East, USA and Asia, having worked with brands such as Hilton, Hyatt and Sofitel.
In his new role at Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach, Becquart will oversee the hotel’s entire culinary and banquet operations which include six meeting rooms with a capacity of up to 300 delegates, Soul Restaurant and Bar, The Talk Restaurant, West Beach and Bistro and Layali Pool Bar.
Meanwhile Moulaeb joins the JBR-based property having previously worked with Rotana Hotel Management Corporation.
General manager Philip Jones said: “We are excited to welcome Martin and Louana to our family and I am convinced that they will be instrumental in driving improvements in their respective areas.”
