Dennis Kammerzell. Dennis Kammerzell.

Newly appointed executive chef, Dennis Kammerzell is back to lead Anantara's Al Baleed Hotel.

Kammerzell previously held the role of Executive Sous Chef for Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort, where he oversaw the operations of six dining outlets and banqueting, spanning from poolside dining to fine-dining. With over 12 years of experience, Dennis has travelled the world, heading up kitchens in luxury hotels in Germany, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Seychelles and the UK.

Guests visiting the resort can choose from dining outlets including Sakalan, which translates to ‘The Land of Frankincense’, the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, with open kitchens and deli counters. The resort’s signature restaurant, Mekong takes guests on a voyage along South East Asia’s mighty river. Headed by speciality chefs, the seductively beautiful restaurant presents the cuisines of China, Thailand and Vietnam, all served against an opulent and ornate backdrop. The relaxed beachside dining restaurant Al Mina, which translates to ‘The Port’ in Arabic, captures Mediterranean flavours featuring with Lebanese, Italian, Greek, Turkish and Spanish classics and using seasonal ingredients.
