After Donald Trump's red carpet welcome at the Ritz-Carlton in Riyadh, he will next be staying at the King David hotel in Jerusalem on the second leg of his first international trip as president.

NBC reports that Trump's accommodation during the second stop on his trip will be a bomb-proof, poison gas-proof and bulletproof hotel room built to withstand the collapse of the entire building.

According to Sheldon Ritz, operations manager for Jerusalem's King David Hotel, Trump's US $5,700-a-night hotel suite that can withstand a rocket-propelled grenade attack as well.

"The presidential suites have independent air conditioning in case of a gas attack and are built to withstand a RPG [rocket-propelled grenade]," he said to NBC. "But still the US is bringing rocket-proof glass to put in front of the window."

The 233-key hotel will also host Trump's family, his wife Melania, daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner and 350 members of the US Secret Service, Army Rangers, Navy SEALs, as well as Israeli security officials.

The hotel has three main suites where Trump could be staying – the Jerusalem Suite, the Presidential Suite and the Royal Suite, reports JPost. "Each suite has interconnecting doors, a bedroom with a king size bed, a large Egyptian style bathroom with separate cubicles for shower and toilet, a bidet and an elliptical shaped bath, a large lounge and dining room, and a kitchenette," the report adds.

Ritz has gone on record to say that even if the entire hotel collapses the suite will "come down in one piece" ensuring the safety of Trump and family. The other members of Trump's entourage staying at the hotel are Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Secretary of Defense James Mattis and National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster.

The hotel has previously welcomed six US Presidents, including Richard Nixon, five British prime ministers, including Winston Churchill and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
