A minor fire broke out at Dusit Thani Dubai earlier this morning, local news reported.
Various local social media eyewitness accounts posted online photos and videos of smoke billowing out of the hotel. No injuries occurred at the scene, a hotel representative told local news.
A Dusit Thani hotel representative told Gulf News that the fire started at one of the kitchens on the 24th floor, and was put out before members of the Dubai Civil Defence arrived at the scene. Dusit Thani released a brief statement about the incident, saying: “There was a minor fire incident this morning in the kitchen area on the 24th floor which was immediately brought under control. The hotel is operating as normal.”
