Kerzner International has appointed Massimiliano Zanardi to the role of managing director at Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort, Morocco.
According to a company statement, Zanardi had been serving as acting general manager for the resort since February 2017. Prior to his new appointment, he was the pre-opening general manager for the group's first property in Europe, the One&Only Portonovi, Montenegro, for two years.
Having started his career in food and beverage, Zanardi has accumulated over two decades of industry experience. Before moving to Montenegro, he held the position of general manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul, Turkey. Zanardi joined The Ritz- Carlton in 2001 and held various leadership roles at different properties within the company.
Zanardi will be responsible for the continued development of the Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort guest experience, entire operation, further team development, and commercial strategy.
