Hard Rock Cafe Dubai has partnered with Al Jalila Foundation to support children with severe hearing disabilities, with limited 'Hard Rock Heals' buttons available at the cafe in support of the foundation.
The partnership between Hard Rock Heals and the Ana Asma’a ('I hear' in Arabic) programme of the Al Jalila Foundation will see every dirham donated towards purchasing limited edition 'Hard Rock Heals' buttons (minimum AED 5 per button) go to support this cause.
"Hard Rock International has a long and strong link to music and giving back to the communities that host our properties," Hard Rock Cafe Dubai general manager Nada Hayati, in a statement.
"By supporting Ana Asma’a through the power of Hard Rock Heals, Hard Rock Cafe Dubai will help children not only hear music but aid in creating a higher quality of life," she added.
Ana Asma’a provides children in the UAE who suffer severe hearing loss with cutting-edge cochlear implants to restore hearing. In the Middle East, hearing loss is one of the region’s top five health issues, estimated to affect 1 in 25 people, most of whom are children.
"Through Ana Asma’a we are helping parents give their children the opportunity to undergo the latest medical procedures, offering them renewed hope for their child’s future," commented Al Jalila Foundation CEO Dr. Abdulkareem Al Olama.
