Hilton has signed a management agreement with Fahd Abdallah al-Harbi & Sons Limited to open DoubleTree by Hilton Jeddah Al Salamah District in Saudi Arabia, by Q1 2020.

"Saudi Arabia features our largest pipeline in the Middle East, and we are pleased to be expanding our portfolio in the country with the addition of this property," said Hilton vice president of development, Middle East, North Africa & Turkey Carlos Khneisser, in a statement.

He also added that this is the first DoubleTree by Hilton property in Jeddah.

DoubleTree by Hilton Jeddah Al Salamah District will be located 10 kilometres away from King Abdulaziz International Airport. It will be near Al Madina Al Munawwarah Road, the main artery connecting the airport with the rest of Jeddah.

The 114-guest room hotel will feature a fitness centre, outdoor pool and spa, and will also offer a business centre, large multi-functional meeting room, meeting room and boardroom.  Dining options include an all-day dining restaurant and a lobby café.
