A man stayed at a hotel in Hilton Head, South Carolina, and racked up a US $2,180 (AED 8,000 approx) bill, but never checked in.
According to the police report, the staff at Sonesta Resort in Hilton Head Island contacted the Sheriff’s office after the man had stayed at the hotel for three days and had a $2,180 bill from room service and spa treatments. The staff member said the man didn’t check in but instead sneaked into the room when the previous guest checked out.
The man admitted that he was under the influence of narcotic substances at the time and had previously stayed at other resorts but had never been caught.
