Jung managing director Tarek Zakaria has said that the company's latest products are all set to increase energy efficiency and reduce operational costs wherever they're installed.

Three of Jung's most recent product launches include: user-friendly and intuitive thermostats that can be incorporated in conventional and smart automation systems; RFID-based card access devices to hotel rooms in partnership with well-known names in the industry of security and hotel key cards; small-sized presence and motion sensors aimed at energy saving while maintaining guests’ convenience.

All of these can be matched within the same design range with the other wiring accessories or devices.

The company is working on a number of things over the next year in line with the fast-paced nature of the technology and hospitality space.

Zakaria revealed: "What's to be expected from us are developments and updates to meet the latest market requirements across multiple fields, especially when it comes to multimedia solutions as the electronics industry is in an ever-evolving state. So the ports and wires we use every day are getting changed or even removed, and Jung makes sure its offerings matches what the today’s world needs in wired, wireless and multimedia solutions."

He added that Jung is also working on the delivery of technologies which are resistant to cyber-attacks or hackers. "An example is the compact hotel room management solutions with 256-bit encryption that is almost to be launched and works on securing the network. That in addition to working on lower level solutions like device to device encryption protocols which aim to revolutionise security offerings," he added.

Jung will be supporting the Hotelier Middle East: Great GM Debate 2017, and Zakaria commented: "Our willingness to be part of Hotelier Middle East's GM Debate is to create a market dynamic that starts with spreading awareness to the different GMs and their delegates about Jung's extensive solutions for the hospitality industry. Such solutions include guest room management systems for three- to five-stars as well as wiring accessories in matching finishes and designs. From that point, we wish to proceed with receiving input from the GMs about their preferences and future plans so that we could cater our solutions and manufacturing developments to their priorities."
