Rotana, has been named the best employer in Iraq and Lebanon at the Aon Best Employers – Middle East Awards 2017.
The award coincides with the brand’s completion of 25 years in the business; with the company now having 55 operational properties in 21 cities across 13 countries in the Middle East, Africa and Turkey.
"It is a great honour to accept this prestigious award for the Best Employer in Iraq and Lebanon from Aon," said Joseph Abou Yaghi, corporate vice president – human resources, Rotana Hotel Management Corporation.
"The award will also serve as an inspiration across the organisation to further drive our nationalisation efforts in order to integrate more locals with a deep understanding of the cultures and communities in the markets in which we operate, into the workforce, and in doing so, enabling us to contribute immensely to promoting economic growth, diversification and job creation in countries across the region,” he added.
Rotana has a pipeline with more than 49 properties - located in 26 cities in the Middle East, Africa and Turkey - under various stages of development. Fifteen of these hotels will open before the end of 2018, adding more than 3,800 keys to the company’s existing inventory.
