A Jordanian man has converted his VW Beetle into a budget hotel room in the desert village of Al Jaya.

Mohammed Al Malaheem first started his VW Beetle hotel in 2011 and CNN Travel reports him as saying that that an overnight stay is equivalent to that of a night in a five-star hotel. A nearby cave named Baldwin's Grotto serves as the hotel lobby, where Al Malaheem serves guests beverages and snacks.

Al Malheem told CNN he and his family will also prepare guests a Jordanian breakfast or lunch.
