Atlantis Sanya, managed by Dubai-based Kerzner International, is now accepting bookings and reservations for guests staying in China's new integrated entertainment destination resort starting May 2018.

The resort has revealed introductory packages for its suites, combining experiential activities and extraordinary amenities.

Atlantis Sanya managing director Heiko Schreiner said: "We are extremely excited to introduce Atlantis Sanya to our trade, media, and partners in China. Through the series of experiential events we are holding across major cities, we want to raise awareness about the first Atlantis resort in China and invite guests to experience our unique offering. For those who can't wait to immerse themselves in the lost city of Atlantis, we are thrilled to announce that bookings are now open for Atlantis Sanya."

Five of the resort's rooms are underwater. The Neptune Underwater Suite and Poseidon Underwater Suite both command views of the Ambassador Lagoon and the 86,000 marine animals that reside inside through floor to ceiling glass window panels. The underwater suites further offer guests a premium brand sound system, premium branded bath amenities and a 12 square metre balcony.

Located along a beachfront expanse on Haitang Bay in southern China's tropical Sanya island, dubbed as the "Hawaii of China", about a 90-minute flight from Hong Kong, the five-star luxury Atlantis, Sanya will have 1,314 keys spanning 540,000 square meters. Built around the myth of The Lost City of Atlantis and overlooking the South China Sea, the resort offers the 200,000 square metre Aquaventure Waterpark, dolphins and sea lions at the 1,800-seat theatre Dolphin Cay and Sea Lion Point, The Lost Chambers Aquarium and the largest open-air aquarium in the world, The Ambassador Lagoon, along with marine protection and conservation facilities.

The resort will have 21 food and beverage venues, that include the Atlantis The Palm Dubai's signature Ossiano Underwater Restaurant and Bar, as well as chef Gordon Ramsay's Bread Street Kitchen and Bar. A spa, designer boutiques, a conference centre and multi-function ballrooms will be available.

The US$ 1.7 billion Atlantis Sanya is owned by China's Fosun International and managed by Dubai's Kerzner International, which also operates Atlantis The Palm as well as Royal Atlantis Resort & Residences and has confirmed to open a new Atlantis project in Hawaii.
