Abu Dhabi National Theatre will host Van Gogh's work for the first time in the UAE. The exhibition, named ‘Van Gogh Alive – the experience’ will last until February 26.

The multi-sensory exhibition, complete with immersive audio and visuals, will offer visitors to experience the exhibits with a specially chosen score along with 300 images.

Visitors will also be able to see the post-impressionist artist’s images on the walls, floor and ceiling of the exhibition space using 40 high-definition projectors.

A story in Khaleej Times reported that the head of the cultural events department at the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development, Yasser Al Gergawi, said: "The exhibition comes within the Ministry's strategy to promote the UAE's position as an international culture and art hub, facilitating communication among various cultures."

After February 26, the art exhibition will move onto Dubai’s Design District. The exhibition in Abu Dhabi is open from 9 am to 10 pm.
