Al Zorah, a mixed-use development, officially opened Marina 1, a leisure destination in Ajman on February 1.
The creek-side development will house 15 dining outlets and other recreational options. It will also offer berthing for boats and yachts between 8 and 40 metres. Additionally, the 37-metre luxury yacht, The Nordic Star will be available for charter for leisure or business purposes.
The dining outlets include Operation Falafel, La Villa, Kaakunada, Colorato, Sweetcorn, AquaBrown Coffee, Funtastico Snack Shack, Z lounge and floating restaurant, Marsa Ajman.
Besides restaurants, Marina 1 will also be home to The Groovy Park, a family-friendly food park with food trucks and an outdoor cinema and Funtastico, an outdoor amusement attraction for families and kids aged 3 to 14 years old. It offers attractions such as bumper boats, trampoline, quadricycles, bouncy slides and castles.
Commenting on the recreational options at Marina 1, Al Zorah Development Company CEO Imad Dana said: “With the launch of the Marina 1, Al Zorah will further transform into a thriving community wherein our Golf Villas residents and guests can spend a relaxing getaway at the five-star The Oberoi Beach Resort, enjoy golfing at the 18-hole Nicklaus Design championship golf course managed by Troon Golf, kayak through serene natural mangroves or moor at the marina’s berthing facilities and experience diverse recreational offerings.”
Marina 1, which is located 15 minutes away from City Centre Ajman, will also open Al Zorah Bootcamp that will promote wellness and fitness within the community.
