Ajman Hotel has appointed George Ganchev as the new general manager. Ganchev will be overtaking the first landmark property reflagged under the Blazon Hotels brand in Ajman, managed by hospitality veterans Reto Wittwer and Ulrich Eckhardt.

The Bulgarian national holds a MBA degree in hotel management from NEOMA Business School, Paris and brings more than 26 years of industry experience to his new job. 

Ganchev first joined Kempinski in 1997 as a front office manager in Bulgaria and went on to work for Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, Zamani Zanzibar Kempinski in Tanzania, Kempinski Hotel Amman, Jordan, then Egypt’s Kempinski Hotel Soma Bay in Red Sea, followed by the Burj Rafal Kempinski Hotel Riyadh. In 2015, Ganchev was part of the pre-opening leadership team of Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga in Latvia.

Commenting on his new appointment, Ganchev said he is looking forward to tackling the new challenges under the Blazon Hotels brand in Ajman.

Ajman Hotel offers 168 rooms and 14 suites, 10 F&B outlets and overlooks the Arabian Gulf.
