Radisson Hospitality AB, part of the Radisson Hotel Group, has signed Radisson Blu Hotel, Vadistanbul in Turkey. The soon-to-open property will expand the hotel company’s portfolio to 23 with 4,400 rooms in operation or under construction.

The hotel is slated to open in Q4 of 2018 within the new upcoming business hub of Vadistanbul, located in the heart of Istanbul. Radisson Hotel Group executive vice president and chief development officer Elie Younes revealed that the project is a joint venture initiative between Artaş İnşaat, Invest Eba İnşaat and Evyap.

The property will offer 195 rooms and suites and facilities will include an all-day-dining restaurant, specialty restaurant and lounge café. The meeting facilities will include a 600sqm ballroom and more than 300sqm of meeting room and boardroom space. The hotel will also include leisure facilities, including a spa covering 330sqm with five treatment rooms and an indoor swimming pool. A gym and kids club will also form part of the leisure facilities, a statement said.

The hotel is located 20 km away from Ataturk International Airport and 30 km from Istanbul’s new airport, which is also set to open by the end of 2018.
