Former Hotelier Middle East Awards winner Maria Tullberg has left her post as general manager at Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek.
Tullberg will be moving back to her home country, Sweden, to take over the general manager position at the Radisson Blu Waterfront Stockholm.
The current acting GM at the hotel is EAM Xavier Halbi.

Tullberg joined the hotel in May 2015 and was responsible for the hotel's 500 employees and 16 food and beverage outlets. Prior to joining Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek, Tullberg was general manager of the Radisson Blu Arlandia Hotel and Radisson Blu Skycity Hotel in Sweden. Tullberg also worked as general manager at Scandic Infra City in Stockholm from 2006 to 2008, and as district director of Scandic’s 10 hotels in Stockholm from 2008 to 2010.
The Scandinavian national graduated from Uppsala University with a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration, and Economics, and has more than 15 years'; experience in the industry.
