Emaar Hospitality Group has chosen Microsoft Dynamics 365 for its finance and operations, a product line of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) applications.
Commenting on the decision, Emaar Hospitality Group CEO Olivier Harnisch said: “We are transforming our business model through digitisation that would take us to the next level in providing world-class service to our guests.”
“In this, we are setting our fundamentals right and we needed core business applications that will drive new operational efficiencies and support future innovation. With Dynamics 365 for finance and operations, we have the balance between back-end control and customer-facing agility,” he added.
Dynamics 365 for finance and operations allows organisations to unify global financials and operations, and because of its “Common Data Model”, business leaders have access to a holistic information ecosystem to help in the decision-making process.
Dynamics 365 also helps provide a 360-degree view of the whole business to key personnel, who can use visual representations of operational areas to adapt quickly to changing market demands, Microsoft claims.
“Microsoft Dynamics 365 for finance and operations enables the end-to-end digital transformation of a business,” said Microsoft Gulf regional general manager Sayed Hashish.
“Emaar Hospitality Group will now have the ability to completely redefine its business processes, and deliver a consistent, customer journey while dramatically improving both service levels and employee productivity, and greatly reducing operational costs. Microsoft has a longstanding partnership with Emaar and we look forward to continue supporting their vision with our technologies and innovations,” Hashish added.
