Russian police vehicles and ambulances reportedly evacuated the Topos Congress-Hotel in Rostov-on-Don after a bomb threat.

The Topos Congress-Hotel is listed as an official World Cup hotel by FIFA, but no competing teams are staying there, according to a FIFA document. Witnesses said they were told by police they had been evacuated due to a bomb threat.

Mirror UK reports that sniffer dogs were also seen entering the building and hotel staff confirmed that 210 people were currently staying at the hotel.

The city of Rostov-on-Don has so far hosted four matches in the tournament, including Croatia’s win over Iceland earlier on Tuesday.
