Tamani Marina Hotel & Hotel Apartment in Dubai has donated a significant portion of the proceeds from the iftar buffet during Ramadan to UAE Red Crescent to assist in its humanitarian works domestically and internationally.

The iftar buffet was held at the hotel’s F&B outlet Café Society during the whole month of Ramadan and the property had pledged to donate 10% of the proceeds from the iftars to UAE Red Crescent.

Tamani Marina Hotel & Hotel Apartment general manager Walid Al-Awa said the proceeds, which were part of the Tamani Cares programme, are in the spirit of giving during the holy month.

He said: "Ramadan is synonymous with the spirit of giving so this is a great chance to give back and help those in need. By donating a portion of our earnings from the Iftar during Ramadan, we hope to be able to assist the UAE Red Crescent in helping orphans and underprivileged families inside the country and abroad."

"Tamani Hotel is committed to working with different charity organisations to promote a positive change in our community. Partnering with UAE Red Crescent reconfirms the corporate social responsibility of Tamani Hotel," Al-Awa added.
