With nearly 4.5 million passengers transiting through the Dubai International Airport every month, airport hotel Dubai International Hotel has rolled out transit packages for 12-hour as well as 24-hour stays.
The Short Transit Package (up to 12 hours) starts at AED 500 (US $136) for single occupancy (AED 560 ($152) for double; AED 660 ($180) for triple) and includes: accommodation in a deluxe room; Ahlan meet & greet services on arrival and departure; and, an express treatment from Timeless Spa.
The Long Transit Package (up to 24 hours) starts at AED 650 ($177) for single occupancy (AED 850 ($231) for double, AED 955 ($260) for triple) and includes: accommodation in a deluxe room; Ahlan meet & greet services on arrival and departure; an express treatment from Timeless Spa; and, a three-course meal at The Gallery.

Dubai International Hotel features 530 rooms, more than 10 dining options, 71 Timeless Spa treatment rooms, the Ahlan Business Class and First Class lounges as well as the airport’s concierge service Ahlan Meet & Greet, offered at Terminals 1 and 3. The hotel has also launched DIH Rewards - a loyalty programme for regular transit guests.
There are more than 50 million transit passengers at Dubai Airport each year and it is a key government strategy to provide more services for transit passengers inside and outside DXB. MyDubai Experience, a new 360-degree digital installation, has been set up in Terminal 3 by DTCM, Dubai Airports and Emirates, providing passengers with tailor-made two-day Dubai itineraries based on their interests.
