Emaar has recently launched a new platform dedicated specifically to home-sharing in Dubai.
Described on its website as a 'hometel', Ease by Emaar is based on a similar model to the global home-sharing website, Aibnb. It is a home-stay experience mixing home with the hospitality services of a hotel.
According to a listing on Airbnb, the team managing stay experiences with Ease is part of a professional hospitality management company with hotel management experience and operational capabilities in hotels and serviced apartments.

The listings are also available on Booking.com and Expedia and 50 other global websites. The listings also offer free Entertainer coupons, discounted tickets for various Emaar attractions such as the Dubai Aquarium and Burj Khalifa as well as a U By Emaar silver card.
However, it is unclear when exactly the platform will be launched launched and whether it will branch out as a more direct competitor to Airbnb in the region.
