Millennium Hotels and Resorts, Middle East and Africa has opened its new five-star 285-key Millennium Resort Salalah.

The opening of Millennium Resort Salalah marks the fourth property operated by Millennium Hotels and Resorts in Oman, including Grand Millennium Muscat, Millennium Executive Apartments Muscat and Millennium Resort Mussanah. The group currently operates 35 hotels, with 11 hotels due to open in 2018 and 40 hotels in the pipeline across the region.

The hotel a large ballroom in Oman with a capacity of 1,000, and is located in the area of Al Saada in Northern Salalah. 

Accommodation includes rooms and suites, serviced apartments, chalets and villas while facilities include a lazy river wrapped around the exterior of the resort, river pool and gardens, children’s playground and a spa complex with freshwater pool.

Millennium Resort Salalah has four restaurants and cafes options, including Sky Grill Restaurant, serving traditional Omani cuisine and rooftop views of the nearby mountains and coast. Other resort dining options are all-day dining restaurant Taybat, serving international fare with indoor and outdoor seating, seafood restaurant Bahriyat and the Zest Café for coffee.
