Majid Al Futtaim has opened Aloft City Centre Deira in Dubai, the first hotel in the region to offer movie-themed suites.
Operated by Marriott International, the hotel also features a VOX Cinemas' outdoor screen, a statement said.
Aloft City Centre Deira marks the fourth hotel collaboration between retail giant Majid Al Futtaim and Marriott International, following Sheraton Dubai Mall of the Emirates, Le Meridien City Centre Bahrain, and Westin City Centre Bahrain.

Jalil Mekouar, CEO of Hotels at Majid Al Futtaim – Properties said: “Majid Al Futtaim strives to create and deliver compelling experiences through our unique destinations, and together with Marriott International, we have launched a concept that is an integrated lifestyle development aimed at establishing a new benchmark for experiential travel in Dubai’s hospitality sector.”
Directly connected to City Centre Deira, guests will have access to special offers to experience some of the best leisure and entertainment attractions in the city, like Ski Dubai, iFly and Orbi.
“The team and I are excited to officially launch the Aloft City Centre Deira. Bringing a fresh vibe to this side of the city, we are redefining the traditional hotel concept, bringing urban cool on the creek to both travellers and residents,” added Sammy Gani, general manager, Aloft City Centre Deira.
