Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced on Monday the official opening of Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi, turning the iconic "Leaning Tower of Abu Dhabi" into the first Andaz hotel in the Middle East.

Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi occupies floors 18 to 33 within the Capital Gate building and is the world's furthest leaning hotel at an 18-degree incline, Hyatt said in a statement.

Represented in destinations including London, New York, Tokyo and Shanghai, Hyatt said its luxury lifestyle brand celebrates distinctively local culture.

"As we weave in the sights, sounds and tastes of the local Abu Dhabi culture, the opening of Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi marks a significant milestone for Hyatt, reinforcing its standing with visitors and residents of the city," said Stuart Deeson, hotel general manager and area vice president for Hyatt Abu Dhabi, Egypt and Jordan.

The hotel offers 189 rooms and suites which have been designed to exude a sense of warm Arabian hospitality including bespoke Andaz Loungewear created by award winning local designer Essa Walla.

Dining options include 18 Degrees and The Lounge while the hotel also boasts the Rayana Spa.
