Premier Inn Hotels has launched a new initiative to support the welfare of the abandoned dog population in the UAE. The new initiative is in line with the British hotel’s plans to give back to the local community in the UAE.
Guests visiting or staying at any Premier Inn hotel in Abu Dhabi or Dubai can purchase Pip, a plush Premier Inn puppy toy for AED 50 (US $13.61). Every purchase of a Premier Inn Pip will support the work of K9 Friends, a rescue and rehoming shelter based in Dubai, a statement from the hotel said.
Commenting on the initiative, Premier Inn’s projects and facilities manager Jonathan Leonard said: “The hotel teams get involved by visiting the shelter and donating essential items needed by K9 Friends, whilst our guests can purchase Pip, the Premier Inn Pup at any of our hotels.”
