Hitesh Mayor, who has more than 28 years’ experience in hospitality, has been appointed director of sales at the Crowne Plaza Dubai.
Mayor, who has held leadership positions with brands in India, the UK, and the UAE, saw his sales career steadily grow in the UAE market, according to a release.
He worked in hotels such as the Fairmont Dubai, Raffles Dubai, Yas Viceroy, Media One, and H Dubai. His most recent assignment was as head of groups & reservations at Desert Adventures, Dubai.
In his new role, Hitesh will be responsible for developing the sales strategies for the Crowne Plaza Dubai’s key account channels. He will also be in charge of implementing and managing the sales activities, identifying new market and growth opportunities.
Commenting on his appointment, Halim Fouad, EAM - Commercial, said: “Hitesh brings a wealth of leadership expertise across the areas of sales & marketing, operations, and business development.”
