Meydan Hotels & Hospitality has appointed Ziad Sleiman as executive assistant manager – operations at Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa.

The Lebanese national started his professional career in 1999 and has worked across the hospitality sector in Lebanon and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In his role, Sleiman will manage all aspects of the resort’s operations, its food and beverage service and culinary departments. Furthermore, he will be overseeing the hotel’s in-room dining, banquet food and beverage operations in addition to eight restaurants and lounges including desert restaurant Al Hadheerah,\ Northern Indian restaurant Masala, international all-day dining Al Forsan, Al Sarab Rooftop Lounge, traditional Italian outlet Le Dune, Ya Hala Lobby Lounge and the Pool Bar.
