The lunch was hosted in conjunction with the Pink Caravan, breast cancer awareness campaign

 

Bahi Ajman Palace, a property by HMH- Hospitality Management Holding hosted a lunch for the team members of the Oncology Unit (Cancer Section) of University Hospital Sharjah (UHS) Caregivers of Cancer, Nurses, Doctors and Orderlies.

This lunch was hosted to thank the team for the selfless work they provide to cancer patients and survivors in UAE.

The ninth edition of Pink Caravan began on February 23rd 2019 across all the seven emirates to raise breast cancer awareness. In conjunction with the cause, Bahi Ajman Palace team welcomed the dignitaries, doctors, nurses, orderlies and caregivers at the premises of the University Hospital Sharjah (UHS).

Haytham Abdul Aziz, Cluster General Manager of Coral Beach Resort Sharjah and Bahi Ajman Palace said, “This initiative reinforces our aim to support breast cancer awareness. All the members at UHS play a very important role in each patient’s life in being their moral support and guide during their detection and getting them through the difficult phase of cancer.”

The nurses, caregivers and orderliness were also given a token of appreciation from Bahi Ajman Palace for their effortless work and support provided to the cancer patients and survivors who are admitted at the UHS. The university has been associated with Pink Caravan to spearhead breast cancer awareness initiative.
