Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has promoted Arabella El Barkouki and Aiman Roujouleh as vice presidents sales in Europe and the Middle East and Africa region, respectively.

 

Arabella El Barkouki, will continue to oversee the regional sales offices in London, Paris and Frankfurt.

Barkouki first joined the group in November 2015 overseeing the three regional offices, she was then promoted to regional director of sales, Europe in July 2017.

Prior to joining Mandarin Oriental, Barkouki spent over 12 years in senior Sales roles including. British born, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages and European Literature and speaks fluent French and is conversational in Italian and Arabic.

Aiman Roujouleh has also been promoted to Vice President Sales, Middle East and Turkey, to support the expansion of the group in the Middle East region.

Roujouleh joined the brand in April 2012 as regional director of sales Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain and was promoted to regional director of sales, Middle East and Turkey in February 2015.

Prior to his tenure with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Roujouleh held various positions in Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, including being an associate regional director of sales for Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, based in Saudi Arabia.

He has a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hospitality) from the Hotel Business School ‘Les Roches’, Bluche, Switzerland. A Syrian national, he is fluent in Arabic, English and French.

Emily Snyder, Group Vice President, Global Sales commented on the promotions: “Aiman and Arabella have made significant contributions to the Group. They not only serve as our brand ambassadors in their respective regions but also drive revenues in our core and developing markets.”
