Almost a fifth (19.9%) of hotel employees have not received a promotion of any kind in the past three years, according to our industry-first study.
The Hotelier Middle East Salary Survey 2009 was taken by 431 hospitality professionals and delivered telling insights into regional salaries and averages.
More positively, almost a third of respondents (32.8%) had received a promotion in the last 24 months, while more than three quarters (76.5%) expect a promotion within the next two years.
